Agreed Agreed Agreed. I didnt watch the award show because I believe in self preservation. I believe that BET should not exist as is and doesn’t represent the black community in a positive light at all. Today’s so called R&B and Hip Hop is exactly NOT R&B and Hip Hop.

Didnt watch the show EXCEPT when I was told Prince was being honored and I missed the beginning of that so now I have to catch that portion…Saw Alicia Keys crawling on the piano and thought the show was over but it went over 30 mins. (shaking my head) Glad I missed the other foolishness, I just watched the show for PRINCE as well and even he was cringing in his seat listening to them singing his songs. DONT Sing PRINCE unless you are Prince! I was scared when Patti flung the shoe thought Prince was going to be injured but she is still my GIRL…CHAKA and PATTI ..LEGENDS!
